My Favorite Ancient WriterQu Yuan

Qu Yuan is my favorite ancient writer. I admire him for two reasons.

Second, Qu Yuan was also a highly regarded politician. He deeply loved his people and implemented many policies to benefit them. His dedication and sincerity towards his fellow countrymen made him a hero in my eyes.

However, it is a matter of regret that Qu Yuan chose to end his life by suicide. To commemorate him, we celebrate a traditional Chinese festival called the Dragon Boat Festival.
