　　Last month e had a sports eting. Though the eather asn't very fine that day, the students ere all very excited and the hole school as alive.

　　This ti, I as even more excited. Because I ent in for the sports eting and my item as high jump. I didn't ant to get any place, I only anted to enjoy the ga because I kne I asn't good at sports.

　　When I got to the field ith my friend. I as both excited and nervous. When I sa the first height, my heart uld hardly heat. Ho high it as! It as higher than our desks. I uldn't believe my eyes. This as too high for to jump over. I asn't nervous at that tihile I as a bit afraid. But I had gone there, I must have a try.

　　Not long after, the ga began. The first person as great. He jumped over easily. I as too surprised to say a ord. The send as good, too. The third nearly jumped over, but he asn't bad…

　　It as my turn. I had a deep breath and then ran toards. In front of the pole, I began to jump. Oh, no! My right foot hit the pole. “I failed.” I thought. And then, another unlucky thing happened. I didn't stand firm and I tumbled. I hurt my back badly. At that mont I felt my back as broken. It as too painful. It seed that the people around field all didn't kno that, they only laughed at my foolish posture. After a very short rest, I stood up.

　　I push my pain back and then ent out of the field ith my red face. My friend hurried to e to . He asked if this as terrible. I as too pained ith my back to anser his questions. I only shook my head. I as sad. Not only I had hurt my back but also I uldn't go on in the ga. I had to see the others jump and ish them to get a good place.

　　Though I didn't have the hole ga. I as still very happy. Because a lot of my classmates tried their best in the ga and they got a lot of good places. They ere all best in my eyes. I as thankful to them for doing their best for our class.
