There as once a little boy that anted to be a good captain, but he kne that he as too poor to do that. So he made up a plan to go a orld called Penny. It as a funny na but he didn’t mind. He also thought that his family ouldn’t let him to go on such a long trip, for Penny that orld as a hundred100 miles more aay. It as a very, very long journey for a boy only 10 years old to do.
He insisted that he ould go aay on a night hen nobody uld find him, so he set off on a day in March, 1981. He got his purse, starting his journey ith bare feet. On his ay, he t a little girl ishing so much for money. He picked up his purse, but found out that he had but only a little bit of pper ins, hich as not enough for her.
He sped a hile for about 10 days to find a job to earn money. He as alays kind, and as illing to help others hen they ere in need. At last he got 100 cents hich ere 100 silver ins, then he sent the little girl the ins ealthily. Hoever, he still kept the pper ins in ergencies.
After to more days of journey, he arrived at a place here it as icy and ld. He kne that he uldn’t make it to Penny in ti, so he made a fortable shelter to stay in until spring. He started off in 1982. When he at last reached Penny, he found a good job, and paid it off ith the pper ins.
He preferred the money to his hole family. He got $100 for the kind people ho helped him hen he as in trouble as a return. It as good that nobody ever questioned him here he as that hole ti hen he ent back; but he as still glad that he uld help his family. When he revered, he felt a little bit sad, and lay don. The next morning hen his parents ca into his revering house to take him ho to rest, they found his to hands clasped on his hite vered sheet bed, as if he had been dead.
His parents ere shocked; they kne that it as the boy’s last sleep, they cried bitterly all night long, hile there as still a smile on the hero’s face.
